What does Matthew 5:20 mean when it says “unless your righteousness surpasses the righteousness of the Pharisees?” What sort of righteousness did the Pharisees have? How can we exceed the righteousness of the Pharisees? What sort of spirit does Christ desire that the Pharisees lacked?
